Avoid accidents when Lorries turn right

Right turn accidents have become an increasing problem.

Accidents involving Lorries turning right and cyclists moving straight ahead most often have very serious consequences, especially for the cyclist who is a very vulnerable road user. 25% of the accidents have a fatal outcome. * 

Geveko ITS has developed a system that warns the driver about cyclists when turning right in intersections.  

LED-Guides are integrated on the roadway at intersections. When a cyclist approaches the intersection the LED-Guides will be activated by means of a sensor, and the LED-Guides start flashing to give the driver an early warning.    

The system is a combination of I-Module and LED-Guides.
