Wrong-way driving is an increasing problem

Flashing red lights on the roadway will be activated, when a driver drives in the wrong direction down the exit ramp.

A wrong-way driver is a driver who drives in the opposite direction, towards the traffic on the motorway. In recent years the number of wrong-way drivers has been increasing, and in some cases they have caused serious accidents. But most of all, they create insecurity on the motorway.

Geveko ITS has developed a system with running red flashlight which is activated when a driver drives in the wrong direction down the exit ramp.

The system is a combination of different types of LED-Guides.
