An easier and safer way to perform traffic counting and traffic measuring

Traffic recording is carried out with a wide range of purposes, from supporting the overall road planning to respond to complaint cases about e.g. high speed.     

Traffic recordings are used in connection with the solving of assignments within traffic safety, environmental considerations, capacity, maintenance or the like.  

Furthermore, the traffic recordings are made for statistical statements showing the development in traffic or the speed on the road network.  

Both the number of vehicles and the variety of vehicles have a major significance for the planning of new roads or for the estimation of traffic safety, noise levels, damaged roads or the like.     

Geveko ITS has developed a system capable of matching the above. The system can count and divide the traffic into different units. The system is cheap and easy to install for lengthy traffic counting.
