ITS World Congress in Stockholm 2009

With over 8.000 participants from more than 60 countries across the world and 220 exhibitors, the Congress was a great success. Here are participants from around the world looking to share experiences and build networks. As a decision-maker, manufacturer, supplier or consultant within the private or public sector, the World Congress is an opportunity for you to learn more about what ITS can do to improve the efficiency of your operations. What’s more, it is an excellent opportunity to show the general public how ITS can help them in their daily lives. 

For the first time Geveko ITS participated together with Lulelå University of Technology as an exhibitor at the ITS Congress and outside in the Experience Park. Both places we showed how far we have come with the development of our intelligent solar cell based road studs and which applications we are able to solve.

From all over the world interested visit our stand. There are no similarly products in the market and the interest where major.

Exciting ITS seminar in Tylösand

The Tylösand seminar is Sweden´s largest traffic safety conference which mainly address to people who ordinarily works with traffic safety at the Swedish road network.

The purpose with the seminar is to raise questions and deal with specific facts which in the end should inspire to improve the traffic safety in Sweden.

For the second time Geveko ITS participated at the seminar as exhibitor, in cooperation with Lulelå University of Technology. At the seminar we showed how far we are with the development of our intelligent solar cell based road studs and which applications we are able to solve.

Wrong-way-driving an increasing problem

Geveko ITS has develop a self-charging LED system with the purpose of fighting wrong-way driving also known as ghost driving.

The system is tested in cooperation with the Road Directorate at 10 exit ramps in Denmark.

LED-Mark tested with remarkable result

In cooperation with the Swedish Road Directorate (Vägverket) our LED-Mark was tested under very harsh weather conditions at the motorway E4 in northern Sweden. 

The result was positive. The feedback from the drivers was unanimous. The road was clearly visible when it was dark or the sun was shining, which made driving more comfortable.
